As the company expanded over the years, we took to duct fabrication, commercial roofing, and commercial and residential HVAC. Because HVAC is the largest percentage of energy used in homes, we thought it was a natural progression to add an energy related division to the business.We are very excited to have the opportunity to expand and are even in the process of opening a customer care center where all of our sales, marketing, accounting, and training operations will be located.
We provide homeowners energy efficient products and services. We can provide you with efficient lighting, replacement windows and doors, water heaters, insulation, air sealing, help with water conservation, sources for renewable energy, and much more to help you save money.

Ownerread moreSteven is the third generation of his family to run GSM Services. He has a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering degree from NC State. Steven manages the residential and Dr. Energy Saver divisions of the company. He holds many certifications and memberships in the HVAC industry that include NATE certification, Air balancing certification, Combustion and CO Certification from NCI, NC and SC Mechanical License holder, ACCA member, and National Comfort Institute member. On his spare time he is involved in community organizations such as The Rotary Club, United Way and the Community Foundation of Gaston County.

He has certifications with Professional Home Inspection Institute, Indoor Air Quality Association, Building Science, and Commercial and Residential Mold Inspection and Remediation.
Greg Paxton

He began in the field as an installer, moved up to work in the service department, and eventually became a consultant, where he received extensive training in the design and layout of systems. Greg was also trained in the areas of load calculations and residential building science.
