Kirkpatrick HD Phd

Dr. H. D. Kirkpatrick was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. He entered Harvard College in 1966, where he majored in the study of Italian Baroque art, and was graduated cum laude with a B. A. In Fine Arts in 1970. After college, he and some others began two non-profit public agencies in Charlotte, NC, both aimed at helping disenfranchised youth either involved already with drugs and alcohol, or considering such a path. Between 1972 and 1974, he obtained a M. Ed. In Guidance and Counseling from the College of Human Development and Learning at UNC-Charlotte.
